The volunteer group consists of two parts of forest protection and fire fighting.
The operation of the voluntary group is defined by the Internal Operating Regulations (statutes) approved by the General Assembly and is in line with existing Voluntary Law.
To become a member of the Group a form needs to be completed. Any person can become a volunteer and offer their time for the common good of society (of course in accordance with his/her own abilities) but it is essential to understand and comply with current regulations. New volunteers will have a year probational period after which they will then be considered permanent members of the Group.
The General Assembly is held at least twice a year and all members are required to be present.
After any General Assembly decisions, all activities are implemented, organised and administered by the Council.
